Dr. Harris is the Acting Director of the Texas Water Resources Institute and is the Project Director for the Institute's Rio Grande Basin Initiative (RGBI). He will play a key role in correlating the work of the Pecos Basin project with similar complementary activities in the RGBI project. Dr. Harris is nationally recognized for natural resources work and will help to ensure appropriate linkages with Texas AgriLife Extension specialists and agents, Texas AgriLife Research researchers, and personnel of other agencies.
